Where are you Located?
I live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado but am currently away at Ole Miss earning my business degree! I spend summers and winters in Colorado, so I typically shoot CO seniors from May - August and CO families from Thanksgiving in November - January. I am also in the process of building a clientele base in Oxford, MS and will be available for shooting MS seniors from August-October and April - May.
How can I pay for my session/prints?
I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards for payment! At the time of booking, you will be sent an invoice for $150 to serve as a date retainer fee. This fee is nonrefundable and your date will remain available for other sessions until the deposit is paid. The amount of the deposit will be deducted from the final amount due the day of the session (for example, Package 2 has a total price of $350, so after the $150 deposit is paid, only $200 will be due on the day of the shoot).
Once you have received your final, online gallery and are ready to purchase prints, you can pay by credit card right inside your gallery. It is safe and secure, I promise! If you have any questions about this system, please let me know and I would be happy to walk you through it.
can you hold a date for me?
If you cannot pay a deposit at the time of booking for any reason, please email me! I would love to talk about your situation personally and we can work together to figure something out!
What if I need to cancel or the weather is bad?
Cancellations/rescheduling require prior notice at least 30 days before the scheduled shoot date in order to be refunded the $150 deposit. After this, the deposit is nonrefundable. The reason for this is that last minute cancellations do not allow me enough time to book someone else on that date.
If the reason for rescheduling is bad weather, don't worry! I know how unpredictable Colorado weather can be and I will make every effort to reschedule with you. In the event that rescheduling is absolutely not possible, you will be refunded your deposit.
what happens after the shoot? how do I get my photos?
Once the shoot is completed and the remainder of your session fee has been paid, I will upload all photos taken (except blurry, eyes closed, etc.) to an online gallery where you will use a "favorite" button to select which photos I will retouch. After those photos are selected, I can begin retouching your photos. This includes color correction, sharpening, cropping, blemish removal, etc. My editing style is very natural and I make sure you look effortlessly flawless! I have a two week turnaround time to make sure that everything is perfect. Once your photos are finished, I will upload them to an online private gallery. From there, you will be able to download your digital files and order prints! After the shoot, you will have the option to purchase rushed processing, additional retouched photos, and a print release.
can I order prints of my photos?
When you receive your online gallery, you will have the option to purchase prints through a professional print lab. I offer a variety of sizes, finishes, and products to provide anything you might want to purchase. I like to remind my clients that senior photo prints are an investment into something that will hang on your walls for years! While professional prints may not be considered cheap, they are worth every penny you put into them when they still look brand new 5 years later.
Should you decide that you would like to print your own photos at a lab of your choosing, you will have to purchase a print release for $100. This is a written release that allows you to choose which print lab you would like to order from. I do not recommend printing from Shutterfly, Costco, Target, Walmart, CVS, etc. because these labs will not provide professional print results.
